How can I become an Adobe Certified Professional?
To obtain the Adobe Certified Professional certificate, you must pass a 50-minute test for one of the available Adobe programs that assesses your knowledge and abilities in the program.
The tests use various aspects of application tasks and selected response elements developed by industry experts, educators, and Certiport test design specialists.
Successful candidates typically have at least 150 hours of instruction and hands-on experience with the application.

Tuition Fee Refund (for Saudis only)
After completing the program and obtaining the professional certificate, you can recover the fees up to a maximum determined by HRDF through the program to encourage and motivate the workforce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supported by the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). This involves compensation for the costs paid for obtaining the professional certificate according to the refund requirements for each certificate, with a maximum set for reimbursement for each certificate. This initiative encourages and motivates the national workforce, business organizations, and job seekers to obtain accredited professional certificates to develop their skills and expertise in specialized fields required in the job market.

How Do I Obtain the Certified Professional Certificate?
There are two types if you want to obtain an Adobe certification:
1. You can obtain a Certified Professional certificate in one Adobe program after passing its specific test
Example: If you pass the Adobe Photoshop test, you will receive a Certified Professional certificate in using Photoshop and the digital badge for the program
2. If you want to obtain the comprehensive Adobe Certified Professional certificate in Visual Design or Video Design, you must pass tests for at least two programs according to the following details:
- Certified Professional in Visual Design Visual Design
Example: If you pass the Adobe Photoshop exam and pass another program exam like Illustrator or InDesign, you will receive three certificates and three digital badges
1. Certified Professional certificate in using Photoshop + program digital badge
2. Certified Professional certificate in using the other program of your choice, either Illustrator or InDesign + program digital badge
3- Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design certificate + Digital program badge
- Certified Professional in Video Design
Example: If you pass the Adobe Premiere exam and pass another program exam like Photoshop or After Effects, you will receive three certificates and three digital badges
1- Certified Professional in Digital Video Design using Premiere Pro certificate + Digital program badge
2- Certified Professional certificate using another program of your choice (either Photoshop or After Effects) + Digital program badge

Does the Adobe Certified Professional Certificate Have an Expiration Date?
Yes, each certificate you obtain from Adobe has a validity period for certification, which is 3 years from the date of issue. If the certification period expires and you wish to renew it, you must retake the test for each certificate to renew the certification validity for another 3 years.
Is one Appointment Enough to Take Multiple Tests for Different Programs?
It is not enough, as each test requires a separate appointment and you cannot test two programs at the same time. You will need to book two different time slots.

How Do I Know if I'm Ready for the Adobe Certified Professional Exam?
You can determine your readiness for the Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) exam if you can confidently use the program tools, efficiently perform required tasks, understand basic concepts and shortcuts, and successfully pass simulation tests or practical training.
What are the Correct Steps to Apply for the Adobe Exam?

4. Prepare for the exam
Practice on the program practically.
Use simulation tests or accredited qualifying courses (such as the ACP qualifying course).
5. Create an account on the Certiport platform
Go to https://www.certiport.com
Create an account as an examinee or learner.
The account creation process will be explained in detail during the qualifying course.
6. Take the exam
Make sure to attend at the scheduled time by entering through the session link. The exam will be remote.
The exam duration is usually 50 minutes and requires answering theoretical and practical questions.
7. Receive the result and certificate
Your result appears immediately after completing the exam.
If you pass, you will receive an official digital certificate from Adobe through your Certiport account.
What are the Types of Questions and the Exam Language?

The entire exam is in English (even if your language skills are not good, don’t worry, you will be trained on all the English terms you encounter in the exam)
When Will I Know My Exam Score?
Knowledge of the exam score, whether pass or fail, appears immediately to the trainee right after completing the exam.
What is the Procedure for Retaking the Exam after Failing?
If you don’t pass on the first attempt, you can retake the exam after 24 hours for the first failure. After the second failure, if the trainee wishes to retake for the third time, booking is made for 700 SAR for the exam, and the retake is after 5 days.
How Do I Take the Test?
The exam is fully managed by the Academy in coordination with the Certiport exam provider, and the exams are conducted remotely. You will be provided with all instructions before and during the exam session.
I had a circumstance that prevented me from going to the exam. Have I lost my chance to get certified?
Don’t worry, the opportunity hasn’t ended. You can submit an excuse for missing the exam and contact the Academy management to get another appointment.
When absent without an excuse, a new exam session appointment is rebooked according to the prescribed fees once again.
Adobe exams for non-graduates
Requirements for Non-Graduates
Provide the Academy with proof of identity for the trainee (ID number or passport number)
- Trainee’s mobile number
- Region and country
- Active email for communication
Have practical experience so that the applicant can pass the exam (note that the course prepares for the exam and does not teach the program)
Pay the qualifying course and two exam fees 2576 Saudi Riyals
Conditions for Non-Graduates
The trainee should not exceed a period of 30 days to take the exam, including the qualification period. If exceeded, the trainee is required to pay a financial penalty determined by the Academy to be able to extend the qualifying course and exam period
When the trainee contacts the Professional Exams Unit, they must communicate using the email registered by them the first time they registered for the exam to avoid any confusion about their identity
Identity verification may be required in a separate meeting with one of the Academy’s employees, and turning on the camera is required to verify identity.

Provide the applicant with an account on the trainee platform to be able to attend the qualifying lectures
Provide the applicant with a schedule form, with appointments available during the month following their registration
Follow up with the applicant during the qualification period and respond to their inquiries through their communication with the Professional Exams Unit [email protected]
The applicant’s account is closed after 30 days from the date of joining the qualifying course
Exams are held and qualification is available on a monthly basis, for example: if the applicant registered in month 1, their qualification period and exams start in month 2, and based on that, the rest of the months are measured
Enable the trainee to attend two live lectures or 3 lectures to explain all required details and prepare for the exams
Additional Information
The applicant must have practical experience to be able to pass the exam (note that the course prepares for the exam and does not teach the program)
The applicant (non-graduate) is provided at the end of the course with an attendance certificate for the qualifying course and training invoices to be able to recover the certificate fees from HRDF (HRDF recovery for Saudis only).
Qualifying Course and Exam Fees
These fees do not include diploma trainees as there is a 20% discount on the qualifying course and two exam fees for graduates only
**If a student exceeds the designated period for Adobe exams according to their registration month and wishes to take the exams after the period, they must pay the penalty fee determined by the Academy to regain access to the qualifying course to complete the exam.
